Concept 1: Senior Erin Benton, a former Liberty Theater employee, stated that the theater’s previous owner wanted to renovate the space. He wanted to have a single theater and a bar in the lobby.

Another idea for the old theater is to renovate it into a community or teen center where people can socialize. There could also be options to rent out bikes or other outdoor equipment.

Many forms of social media contain vast amounts of information about current events from numerous sources. Some outlets, like Twitter, have dedicated tabs to showcase trending news, which are filled with both public comments and links from reputable news sources.

Dance teacher Eryn Brown not only gives directions and critiques to the performers but also makes sure that the rehearsal is following proper safety precautions. A monitor is set up during rehearsal to allow remote performers to watch.

Due to students being positioned far away from the stage, Jeff Brown, director of choirs, must use a microphone to make sure all the performers can understand his directions. Remote students are able to watch and follow along with the rehearsal through a monitor.

The crew is not only responsible for building the different set pieces; they also need to plan out different visual aspects of the show. For example, they need to plan out how far away this projector needs to be from a board in order for the projected image to be the right size.

All performers are social distancing while rehearsing the choreography. Masks are being worn at all times and students are encouraged not to congregate during or after rehearsal.

The crew creates the brick wall visual by placing masking tape over a base coat and then painting over it with the blue paint. Kevin Holly, the technical theater coordinator, helps with this process.
