On Friday, Dec. 8, the fine arts department hosted the annual pop-up art show in the main gym. From 10:25 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the gym displayed different student-made artifacts from art classes such as ceramics, painting, and jewelry-making.
In addition to the displays, many pieces and plants were available for purchase, and artists demonstrated figure drawing and throwing on a pottery wheel.
Senior Molly Koch gives a live demonstration of her wheel-throwing and pottery skills during the show. Koch also displayed some of her work, including an incense burner with a snake attachment.
![For the final piece, a combination of Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble played an extravagant song by Paul Hindemist.
