The Libertyville Girls’ basketball team emerged victorious in their game against Zion-Benton, winning 61-20 on Tuesday, Nov. 29th. The Wildcats forged an early lead and carried that momentum through the rest of the game. “We got good production from almost everyone on the team,” stated head Coach Greg Pedersen. “[It’s] a benefit for us because we like seeing multiple people succeeding.” The players were well-coordinated and motivated throughout the game and played exceptionally well. “They pull for each other. They support one another. When they fall down, they pick each other up, they have a special bond together and you can see it on the floor.” mentioned Pedersen. The Wildcats‘ harmony and teamwork led to a prime performance and brought the victory home.
