Girls tennis places well at Conference Tournament

On Friday, Oct 8 the varsity girls tennis team competed in the North Suburban Conference Tournament. The matches were played during the day on Friday across the county. Seniors Kayla Talerico and Natalie Kapelevich had their match at the LHS courts and placed 4th in the tournament.

Elsewhere in the doubles tournaments, sophomore Hadley Warren with senior Alexandra Berns, and sophomore Kendall Brooks with senior Kate Hopkins, each won 3rd in their respective divisions. Senior Emily Anderson with junior Alex Davis placed 4th.

In the singles tournament, junior Maggie Forkner placed 3rd for the top line. On line two, freshman Lena Dogadalski won her tournament. Senior Candela Arregui won third place for the third line of singles.
