On April 17 and 18, LHS Stageplayers showcased their talent in a production of the iconic “A Chorus Line.” Despite a tornado warning on Friday and a sound system crash on Saturday, students wowed the audience with colorful dancing and beautiful vocals. As the final show of the year, cast and crew members spent the last months working together, forming bonds for the rest of their lives. “I loved [the musical experience],” sophomore Noelle Larson said. “It gives me a lot more opportunities to showcase my skills.”
Val, played by senior Ava Botten, is asked by the director to share her backstory. In response, Val performs her song “Dance: Ten; Looks: Three”. In the song, the character explains how she had to go through cosmetic procedures to be seen in show business, finally.
