Mr. Adam Gohr conducts the symphonic winds . The band played “Legends of the Galaxy” by Chandler Wilson and “Joy Revised” by Frank Ticheli. Mr. Gohr said that they “have a lot of fun doing what [they] do.” Gohr has been in charge of the band for 26 years, 11 of which are at LHS.

One of the proudest moments of DJ’s life was becoming a journalist. Besides just writing stories and interviewing celebrities, he was also able to learn a lot about journalism philosophy. “Every story is about point of view,” DJ said. “Your job is to find the perspectives that bring the story to life.”
DJ: From Sidelines to Bylines
Both the middle school and high school choirs perform a selection of pieces, including “Ad Astra” by Max Richter and “Shenandoah,” a folk song. "We had a chance to have a first run through of everything," guest conductor Dan Gregerman said. "Then the students split into what we call sectionals, where they each rehearsed in their part with somebody else, working on some of the things that I said that I thought we needed to do. Then we came back together, we ran it again, and then basically came out and did the concert."

Hi! My name is Ella and I’m a senior. This is my second year on staff and I’m the social media manager. In school, I am a part of the executive board for DECA and also I’m on Senior Wellness Board. Outside of school, I like to bake, hang out with my friends, and do different types of crafts.
