Boys Gymnastics vaults over the competition

On April 6, the boys varsity and junior varsity gymnastics teams competed against and defeated the Mundelein Mustangs. The Varsity team scored 128.900 points while the JV team scored 106.300 points.

The second highest all around score of the night came from Varsity gymnast Grady Georgia, who totaled 47.700 points.

“I felt pretty good. I was confident going into [tonight], and I’m pretty happy with the results,” Georgia explained after his team’s victory.

The Cats will continue their season by facing their next opponents at Stevenson High School this upcoming Wednesday.

The varsity dance team showcases their abilities with a kick line during their halftime performance. They do a routine to Good Vibrations which is played by the Marching Wildcats. Freshman Liv Hilliard said, “Getting to dance with all the older girls,” is her favorite part because, “they make me feel so welcome, and it's just so much fun.”
