Boys varsity bowling rolls their way to victory

The boys varsity bowling team beat Stevenson by a tremendous 428 points and ended with a game total of 3095 points on Tuesday, December 14. Strong team spirit and sportsmanship kept the Cats energized throughout their match. Joey Frega and Grant Keriazakos had an outstanding performance, leading the team with 707 and 679 points respectively.

Grant Keriazakos directs the ball down the lane and later finishes off the match with a personal total score of 679.

Vaughn Kator delivers a clean shot straight into the pocket for a strike, then ending his match with a quick double and 620 total score.

Marc Moss fires the ball making a curve for the pocket attempting a strike, going on to finish with a total score of 563.

Senior co-captain Grant Angelbeck scores a point against the Blue Devils in the two singles match. Angelbeck, who won his sets 6-1 and 6-0, said that he is “looking forward to improving my consistency throughout this season.”

Senior Kate Rule (24) takes the ball down the court, trailed by Loyola senior Paige Engels (33) and sophomore Clare Weasler (10). Despite playing the final game of her high school career, Rule still hopes to see the team continue to display “great team spirit and energy. I think that’s something that’s so vital and so important to this program.”
