Dig Pink Event (2021): Varsity Girls Volleyball vs. Vernon Hills

On Monday, October 11th, the varsity girls volleyball team played against Vernon Hills in the annual Dig Pink event. The Wildcats not only won both sets over Vernon Hills, they also raised $6,200, with the original goal being $5,000, for The Side-Out Foundation. The Side-Out Foundation is a nonprofit and research organization that strives to provide solutions for those affected by metastatic breast cancer. The girls Freshman A & B, Sophomores, JV, and Varsity teams stayed after school to deck out the gym in pink for the event and even wore pink jerseys for the game.
