Girls Track Takes Second Place Against Lake Forest and Lake Zurich

On Monday, April 26, the junior varsity and varsity girls track teams competed against Lake Zurich and Lake Forest at a home meet on the Libertyville High School track. Lake Zurich won the meet while Libertyville came in second place. They will compete in eight more meets, with the season running into the month of June.

Sophomores Roohee Patil and Nicole Mathews fight for their win against Glenbrook North’s Sydney Jon and Kayla Yoon, as Mathews lunges forward during their second game to secure the win. “They were close matches,” Patil said. “[We] have really good chemistry.”
