Girls softball team wins the NSC title in a 3-1 game against Zion

On Tuesday, May 14, the Libertyville girls softball team clinched a 3-1 win over Zion-Benton to earn the North Suburban Conference title. The Cats went 11-1 in their conference and 20-7 overall this season. The team plays next Tuesday, May 21, at Glenbrook South for the Regional championship semi-final; they will face off against either Highland Park or Wheeling.
