“I was never really super athletic. As a kid. I played soccer for a few years, but I was really into reading and my mom was like, ‘Oh, you should try running, I did running in high school.’ In middle school I tried track and track was where I just did stuff with my friends, it was really laid back. I just continued with it in high school and I’ve learned to really love it. I’ve got to try new things like hurtling, which I never thought I would do in my life and it’s just nice. I just really enjoy running now,” stated junior Will Tegtmeyer.
