“Well, I like to think that [my style] is kind of preppy, but also casual. You don’t want to show up in a suit every day to school, but I think [my style is] not super casual but it’s not over-the-top fancy … For the most part, [I care about what I wear], like that’s what everyone’s first impression of you is when they’re first meeting you, so you want to represent yourself well. I kind of want to have something that makes me stand out a bit and I want to present myself well because if I don’t, it kind of makes me look bad. I’m not trying to say something [with what I wear] per se because I think there’s more to me than my style, but I think it just compliments my personality … It doesn’t exactly make me who I am, but it definitely adds to my identity, I think.”
