In the battle of District 128, the Vernon Hills Cougars’ boys bowling team came out on top against the Libertyville Wildcats. Junior Alex Nelson of Libertyville had a team-high 687. The Wildcats held a lead through the first nine frames of game one, but after heating up during the 10th frame, the Cougars never look back. They won all three games, with the final score being 3153-2846.
