Boys lacrosse loses thriller to Grayslake Central

The Wildcats had many isolation plays that they ran throughout the game. An Isolation play is when a player gets the ball and their teammates give them space to go one on one with the defender in an attempt to score.

After six straight game cancellations during the past couple of weeks, the Libertyville Wildcats squared off against the Grayslake Central Rams. It was a close game that went back and forth throughout. The game was tied at five at the end of regulation. In sudden-death overtime, the Rams’ Peter Brewster scored the game-winning goal, after a costly turnover by Libertyville in their attempt to clear the ball.
