Boys basketball defeats Lake Forest Academy, 55-48

On Thursday, Nov. 30, at Lake Forest Academy, the Libertyville Wildcats  boys varsity basketball team (2-3) defeated the Lake Forest Academy Caxys (4-2), with a final score of 55-48.

This non-conference match was a close game, with a halftime score of 24-20. Both teams played physically, going into the foul bonus in each half, which resulted in frequent free-throw opportunities.

As the varsity team is still at the beginning of its season, they are preparing for their conference games, which begin on Tuesday, Dec. 5, against Warren.
