Earlier today, the LHS poms team competed in the IHSA 2A State competitive dance finals, placing second among 10 finalists in their class. Earning a score of 92.12, the team improved from last year’s 6th place performance.

Led by head coach Ms. Jacqueline Newman, this is the team’s third consecutive trip to the State finals.

The team advanced to the State preliminary round by dominating their Sectional, as they placed first with a score of 91.97.

At the State preliminaries, the poms squad placed third with a score of 90.54 to advance to today’s performance.
