In accordance with the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), Libertyville’s Ms. Lindsey Siegel was awarded with Girls Bowling Coach of the Year for Illinois for the 2013-2014 season.

The award recognizes one coach from each sport in each state around the country who exhibits leadership and brings a positive attitude to the team.

“When I received the letter I can honestly say my jaw hit the floor,” stated Siegel. “I am honored that someone would think so highly of the work I do with my students. Coaching is something I do for them, not for me. So to get this award was such a surprise.”

Siegel has been involved in the sport for over 27 years and hopes to continue coaching the sport she loves for many years to come.
