Girls and boys cross country perform well during quadrangular home meet

On Tuesday, Oct. 3, the boys and girls cross country teams competed in a North Suburban Conference quadrangular meet against the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees, Mundelein Mustangs and Stevenson Patriots. With both teams celebrating senior night on the Adler Park home course, it was an exciting race from start to finish. In the end, the boys team came in first place with a score of 40 and the girls team came in second with a score of 45. 

The top three runners for the boys team were junior Michael Chudy in third, freshman Thomas Chudy in sixth and junior James O’Keeffe in ninth. 

The top three for the girls team were senior Margo McGormley in first, junior Rosemary Inga in seventh and sophomore Isabelle Karl-Garcia in eighth. 

The girls will have their next meet on Friday, Oct. 6 at Loyola Academy Munz Campus. The boys will have their next meet on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Warren Township, also with the girls.
