State Representative – 62nd District

Democrat:

  • Laura Dias – Dias is an elected Trustee for the village of Grayslake, and is very involved with her community through volunteering. She believes in protecting women’s rights and reproductive rights, and strongly supports mothers who want to get involved in politics, as a mom of two boys herself.
  • Thomas Maillard – A lifelong resident of Lake County, Maillard comes from a family of community organizers. As a state representative, he supports legislation to help the environment and lower property taxes. He is also running for State Central Committee, where he currently serves as its youngest member.
  • Terry Wilke – Wilke is currently a Lake County Board member for District 16. He believes in equality for all who has been working in local politics for over 20 years. He wants to educate and motivate the next generation to be leaders.

Republican:

  • Adam Shores – Shores was a former Trustee for the village of Grayslake who recently stepped down to run his campaign for state representative. He plans to put families first and grow Illinois’s economy, and make sure the government is functioning as efficiently as possible.
