Students walk to Carmel before first football game

The Libertyville High School marching band gets ready to play on the march to Carmel.

Libertyville students exit the baseball field, beginning the first walk to Carmel in 15 years.

Students enter the North Shore bike path, following the cheerleaders and marching band.

Many students wore the orange shirts and bucket hats they purchased from spirit pack sales.

Friends excitedly chat with one another about the game as they near Carmel.


Several students waved Wildcat flags toward the end of the march.
