“What made me decide to walk out today is I’m sick that it has to take people…what has to be done is someone has to take another person’s life in order for this to be an issue. It shouldn’t have to come to that. It shouldn’t have to come to people dying and then we get in the cycle of ‘thoughts and prayers’ and then there’s protests and then there’s nothing done.”
