We cover different, diverse and important topics

One purpose of Drops of Ink that I think readers see is our dedication to telling the stories of people and events that are different and diverse. DOI does its best to cover a variety of topics for the sake of igniting change or promoting awareness of an idea or event relevant to our society today. The publication won’t shy away from an idea because it could strike conversation; if the story is important, it’s important. There is a genuine desire to pull back the curtains on issues and present information and different opinions. I also think DOI is lucky enough to have a ton of staff members, most of whom have a passion for photography, writing, or graphics and general creativity. It forms a group of people who can successfully collaborate and bounce ideas back and forth. There’s something unifying about knowing you share a common goal with a group of people.
