On Tuesday, Oct. 31, Libertyville boys soccer played against Evanston in the Super-Sectional final. Libertyville won 3-0, with goals from Evan Rasmussen, Riley Hoff and Brandon Murphy. They advanced to the State Tournament on Nov. 3-4. They will play Bradley-Bourbonnais on Friday, Nov. 3, with a chance to advance to the State Finals.

"[We have] comfort knowing that everyone's kind of going through the same thing. It's kind of incredible.”

Taking place during the French Revolution, Marius (Micheal Boman) and other townsmen fight government soldiers at the barricade. While most of the characters meet their end, the victories during this scene prove there will always be light in the darkness. “Les Misérables is a story about hope,” junior Julianna Rodriguez, who plays Cosette, said. There is so much darkness, but every dark night will end.”
