Lake County, Illinois consists of 52 cities and villages. Pictured in this slideshow are just a few of the places that make Lake County lovable. Between various shops and outdoor activities, there is always something to do in this area.
The Waukegan Harbor and Marina is a nice change of scenery from Libertyville. It has a small boardwalk with shops along the way, and a lighthouse at the end of the pier. It’s a perfect place to visit on a summer afternoon, changing it up from local beaches like the ones in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff.
