Regarding the D128 Board Candidates, I feel it is in best interest to D128 to remove Sean Gay from the listing. As a public figure, it is suspicious to refuse to have a picture of you or to refuse to be interviewed. Also, it is messed up to fire teachers who are unwilling to do full in-person learning. It’s completely valid for teachers to not be comfortable with full in-person learning, because it isn’t safe for everyone to be in the school yet. Finally, one of the most important issues he has is that he wants to deny trans rights to all transgender students. This is especially an issue to me and other students, as I choose to identify as non-binary.
