What is your most awkward memory in the choir room?
Any time a student’s backpack gets "nuggeted" I crack up! I know it sounds mean, but that’s just funny.
Do you have any weird phobias?
I hate having wet feet when I’m wearing shoes and socks.
Have you ever cried during a movie? If so, what was the most recent film that made you cry?
Yes, I have. This might surprise you, but I cried when Optimus Prime was killed in "Revenge of the Fallen." That was tough to watch.
If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It’s my go-to food any time of the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight snack-- it doesn’t matter. PB&J all day!
What is the most listened to song on your iPod?
"Forget You" by Cee Lo. I love that tune!
What is your most embarrassing moment?
Well, there was this one time when I was taking a yoga class with Mrs. Brown. I was the only male in the room, with a bunch of females, and something really embarrassing happened as I tried to settle in to the downward-facing dog pose. That’s all I’d like to say about that.
What is your dream car?
Chevy Camaro, like Bumblebee in "Transformers."
What is the funniest thing your son Owen has done?
During his baptism, while the pastor was holding him, he let out the loudest toot you can imagine in the quietest moment of the baptism. Priceless.
Who is your favorite superhero and why?
Batman. Three reasons: He’s a regular guy, he has the best toys, and he can kick some major butt.
Packers or Bears?
Neither. Dallas Cowboys!!!!! I’m from Texas.
What's your favorite TV show?
It's hard to pick, but right now, "Glee," is my favorite show.
Who is the most influential person in your life and why?
Dr. Dale Miller. he was my college choir director, and he is the person who inspired me to want to be a teacher for my career. Great man.
What are your kids' names?
Alexandria (10 yrs) and Owen (7 yrs).
