What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would definitely expand the size of my shoe closet.
What is your most embarrassing moment?
Ask the kids in my second period class about this one. I mispronounced President Martin Van Buren’s name during lecture last week. That’s ALL I’m going to say!
Do you prefer comedies or horrors?
Comedies.
What is your favorite day of the week?
I love Fridays. They are filled with a sense of accomplishment from the week that has passed and a sense of possibility for the weekend ahead. Does that sound deep?
What is your favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving because it is drama-free and I have a lot to be thankful for.
If you could learn another language what would it be?
Definitely Spanish because I speak it all of the time anyway but apparently not very well. I have been told that I speak it like a three-year-old.
Pepsi or Coke?
Easy one…Diet Coke.
If you could be any character in a book or movie, who would it be?
Amy Sedaris because then David Sedaris would be my brother.
What’s your dream job? (besides teaching)
Lead singer for a Fleetwood Mac tribute band. “Bella Donna- coming to a state fair near you.”
What’s your favorite thing to do in the winter?
Daydream about summer.
If you were a character in a video game, what would you be named?
“Lara” Croft.
What is your favorite memory of high school?
Open campus lunch release for juniors and seniors.
If you could be any animal, what would you be?
I would be my 10 month-old-retriever. He has the best life of anyone I know.
Would you rather have to teach your classes for a day wearing a clown suit or a scuba diving suit?
Clown suit. I think I actually taught my classes on a clown suit back in the 1990s.
Favorite person from history and why?
Ahhh! This is an excruciatingly difficult question for a history teacher to answer. It tends to depend on what unit I am currently teaching. I’m kind of impressed by Alexander Hamilton right now. He was a man on a mission…and he’s on the ten!
Do you have any weird phobias?
Nope.
What is the best thing you have ever dressed up as for Halloween?
A Q-Tip. I wore fuzzy white slippers a blue catsuit and a swim cap with cotton glued to it. I was in college…I was on a budget.
If you had to listen to one song 24/7 what would it be?
“I’m Henry the VIII, I Am” by Herman’s Hermits.
If you were stuck on a desert island, what are three things you would want to have with you?
1. My I-Pad. 2. My collection of Jen Lancaster essays 3. Sunscreen

Now-Michael Franti. High School- tie between The Steve Miller Band and The Eagles
What is your favorite thing you wore when you were in high school?
My Jordache jeans with my yellow Forenza sweater. (Flood, LeMaistre and Torrence know what I’m talking about!)
