How did you meet?
O: The reason we met was because of LHS but we didn’t start talking until outside of school. We were at a little teacher get together and he was there and we chatted it up.
G: That pretty much says it. It was my second year and her third year and we didn’t really see each other in school a lot until that get together.
What are your favorite things about each other?
O: I would say just the fact that you would really know with Mr. Tough guy over here but he has such a big heart and is a really hard worker and is fun to be around
G: I think one of her best qualities is that she can put up with me. That is a monumental feat. She is very outgoing and that’s not me. She kind of brings that out in me and makes me be more outgoing. She’s family oriented which I like and is very kind. I could go on forever.
What is your song?
O: We don’t really have one. He got me into country music so there’s a lot of country songs that I hear and think about him. Just like the first ones he downloaded for me.
G: There’s not like a song. That’s probably something we need to work on before July 14th. Anything country is what we enjoy listening to together. There are probably about 20 songs that we both really enjoy but I don’t think there’s just one right now.
Do you like working in the same building?
G: Yeah. We don’t run into each other a whole lot. Certain semesters we will have lunch together and see each other then but its not like we cross paths on a daily basis. For me it’s not an issue at all. I know the students will sometimes use us to talk to one another. They will ask her a question to see if I will do something and that’s just kind of fun. Makes it interesting.
Where are you going on your honeymoon?
O: Probably Costa Rica
G: That’s the plan
O: We don’t have it planned but that’s where we want to go. I want to see the monkeys.
What did you want to be when you were 5?
O: I wanted to be a vet. I had a little carrying case and everything.
G: For me it was a baseball player, a football player, and a fighter pilot. In that order.
What movies make you cry?
G: I don’t think she can stay awake for an entire movie.
O: Last time I cried watching TV was during a “Sons of Anarchy” show, which is about biker gangs
G: The one that always gets me is legends of the fall. The one with Brad Pitt.
What is your favorite holiday?
O: Christmas
G: I’ve always been a big Thanksgiving and Easter fan
What is one thing you cannot live without?
O: (points at gooris)
G: Ok I guess I have to say that too. But in addition, I think just family. That’s the most important thing. Everything else I could pretty much do without.
Who is your celebrity dream date?
O: I have a couple. Probably Luke Bryan
G: Faith hill.
What are your biggest pet peeves?
O: When people line up at the door and ask me to go to the bathroom during class.
G: Being woken up from a nap. And small seats on airplanes.
What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
O: Alligator.
G: Probably alligator. But that was actually pretty decent. The strangest thing I ate was probably raw tuna at a tapas place one time. That was pretty weird.
What kind of music do you listen to?
G: Mainly country. Every once in a while I go back to the 90s alternative rock grunge phase. I could listen to anything really.
If you could have one magical power, what would it be?
O: To teleport
G: For me it has always been flying. If I could do that it would be pretty cool.
