What is the most interesting statistic up to this point in your season?
“We give up an average of 47 points per game. With defense being our main emphasis, that's a pretty good average.” –Coach Swanson
What is your team doing well so far?
“Our team is doing a good job of trying to execute our system, especially on the defensive side. They have the ability to be a very good defensive team. It will just take more consistency and will. If they do this, their defense will create their offense.” –Coach Swanson
“Everyone on the team has become at lot closer since the season started. This has really helped us in games. We really trust each other out there on the court.” –Senior Alex Haley
What does your team need to work on for the rest of the season?
“Our team needs to work on bringing consistency to every practice and game. Along with this, I would like to see more overall leadership. If we can get these two areas straightened out, then they have the potential to do a lot of good things this season.” –Coach Swanson
“For the rest of the season we need to work on bringing more energy to the court because we are going to be playing tough teams this season. I think if we all work our hardest and stick to our principles, we will be able to compete for a conference championship and go far in the state tournament.” –Senior Alex Haley
What are you looking forward to for the rest of the season?
“I'm looking forward to watching our team grow both on and off the court. They are a great group of kids who have the potential to accomplish great things. If they start to develop the type of consistency that we're looking for, they will be a very competitive team.” –Coach Swanson
