After losing a tough game the night before against Stevenson, the Wildcats looked to boost their confidence against a weak Round Lake team. They did: 6-2.

LHS came out swinging, scoring first inning runs off of a double to deep left center field by senior Brad Martin, driving in junior A.J. Schurr and senior Chad Uhler. Senior Brandon Fawkes then brought in Martin on a sacrifice fly the following at bat.

The Wildcats scored again in the sixth when Senior Mike McQuillen doubled to deep left, scoring junior Thad Mikaelian, who doubled deep to right as well.

Senior Mike Wartnaby and junior Robbie Dittman pitched solid, with Wartnaby going three innings with three strikeouts and only allowed one run. Dittman pitched an outstanding pitching four innings in relief. He also finished with three strikeouts and gave up a run.

The Wildcats are now 9-4 on the season, with three of those wins coming in divisional play.

Next up for the LHS is an exhibition game aganist Highland Park at the Milwaukee Brewers' Miller Park.
