LHS Cares in Color

This past Saturday, May 6, Student Council held its third annual Color Run. This year, all the proceeds went to GiGi’s Playhouse, a non-profit organization with Down Syndrome Achievement Centers located across the United States. Student Council chose GiGi’s Playhouse because many local families who would like to attend the programs that GiGi’s provides have to drive as far as Hoffman Estates to be able to participate. Their goal is to open a center in Deerfield, which is a closer and easier location to drive to.
